BOMBAYDC has announced the appointment of Santosh Kumar as Associate Director - Business Growth & Partnerships (South), as part of its effort to scale its South India presence in response to rising demand for enterprise digital products, commerce platforms, and AI-enabled experiences. While BOMBAYDC has long partnered with clients in the region, the growing complexity and scale of product-led and commerce-driven mandates have prompted the firm to formalise its expansion with dedicated leadership on the ground.
Santosh brings over 15 years of experience across business growth, digital product strategy, commerce, and UI/UX-led transformations, spanning enterprise organisations, high-growth startups, and design-led companies. He has worked with and within organisations such as Amazon, CX100, Trivialabs, Nxtzeal, and Monkey Funky Studios, building a strong blend of design, product, and commercial acumen.
Across his career, Santosh has worked closely with enterprise leaders, founders, and cross-functional product teams to drive high-value digital engagements across commerce platforms, websites, mobile applications, and scalable digital ecosystems. He has owned end-to-end account growth and strategic partnerships for marquee clients, including Amazon, Doha Bank, and Analytic Edge, helping organisations translate complex business requirements into impactful, scalable digital products.
This aligns with BOMBAYDC’s established track record of delivering measurable outcomes across large-scale commerce and digital product engagements. To date, BOMBAYDC has completed 200+ large-scale projects, with several engagements delivering 20-50% improvements in outcomes and user satisfaction following revamps, and over 85% client repeat business, underscoring its ability to deliver sustained impact for enterprise partners.
Based out of Bangalore, Santosh will focus on driving enterprise partnerships, building sustained revenue pipelines, and accelerating growth for BOMBAYDC’s digital product offerings across strategy, UI/UX, and experience-led platforms.
Siddesh Pednekar, Partner & COO, BOMBAYDC, said:
“We’ve consistently worked with South India-based clients such as Tata Communications, RMZ, Agilitas, Lotto and Uprio, an AI-powered edtech platform, and over the last year, demand from the region has grown significantly, especially in commerce platforms and AI-enabled digital products. Santosh’s appointment reflects our intent to move closer to these markets with local leadership, deeper collaboration, and long-term partnerships.”
Santosh Kumar, Associate Director – Business Growth & Partnerships (South), added:
“BOMBAYDC has built a strong reputation for helping brands conceptualise, design, and scale meaningful digital products, especially at the intersection of commerce, AI, and experience design. South India today is where many of India’s most ambitious digital products are being built, and design plays a central role in that growth. I’m excited to be part of BOMBAYDC’s expansion journey and to help build enduring partnerships in this market.”
