Overview
Tata Communications partnered with BOMBAYDC to transform the TCx portal, a mission-critical B2B platform for ordering, service management, billing, and account visibility.
Despite its scale of 1,500+ screens, adoption was low and the platform lacked a high-tech perception. Fragmented UX, inconsistent UI, and high cognitive load made key tasks complex and dependent on assisted sales.
The challenge was to improve adoption and elevate brand perception without changing backend systems.
BOMBAYDC used a design-system-led approach to audit, simplify, and standardise the experience within existing constraints.
